What Is High Chrome Casting?
High Chrome Casting refers to wear-resistant castings produced from High Chromium Cast Iron (HCCI), typically containing 12%–30% chromium and 2%–3.6% carbon. The material forms hard chromium carbides (M7C3) within the iron matrix, providing outstanding resistance to abrasion, erosion, and moderate corrosion.
